Nuria studied Macroeconomics with the specialization of Energy Economics and Regional Studies of Latin America at the University of Cologne, Germany. Since 2013, Nuria has been based in Santiago de Chile, where she has worked as an environmental and energy consultant for both the public and private sectors. As a Senior Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Chile, Nuria realized diverse projects related to Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, especially for Mining companies. As a project manager at the Chilean office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, Nuria has organized different national and international conferences on topics of sustainability and Climate Change, among these the First Santiago Climate Week 2017.
Since 2018, Nuria works as an independent consultant and has realized multiple projects related to Renewable Energies, Green Hydrogen and innovation policies within Public Transport for different consultancies. Her expertise includes environmental policies on EU-level as well as LATAM. Nuria is author of diverse market studies and publications related to smart cities, public transport, green infrastructure, climate change adaptation, solar- and geothermal energy in Chile as well as the EU ETS. Nuria speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.
