Pilar Henriquez
Senior Consultant in Sustainable Mobility  – Santiago

Mechanical Engineer from the University of Chile and Masters in Innovation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has more than 11 years of experience in the transport and energy sectors, successfully leading electromobility, energy efficiency, and sustainable projects in countries such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, and the USA, developing market studies and strategic consultancies on the field of zero-emission mobility solutions. Pilar speaks Spanish, English and also has a basic level of Portuguese.

Nuria Hartmann
Senior Consultant in Strategic Development   – Santiago

Macroeconomist specialized in Energy Economics and Latin American Regional Studies from the University of Cologne, Germany. Before joining Hinicio,  she worked as a Senior Consultant in companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the Konrad-Adenauer Chile Foundation, and with public institutions such as the Ministry of Energy of Chile since 2013, where she participated in the proposal of a National Strategy for the development of the Hydrogen Market in Chile and held the First Climate Week in Santiago. Nuria is fluent in Spanish, German, English, and Portuguese.

Luis Parra
Senior Consultant in Projects Development  –  Bogota

Double Bachelor’s degree with honors in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Masters in Electrical Engineering, and Postgraduate degree in Project Management. Before joining Hinicio, Luis Carlos worked in international business, technical analysis, and project management in renewable energies, electric vehicles with both batteries and fuel cells, as well as in the implementation of energy management algorithms for microgrids in companies and organizations such as Enel, Enel X, the Hydrogen Research Institute in Canada, Belectric in Germany and CONICET in Argentina. His native language is Spanish, but he is also fluent in English and German.

Paolo Lioi
Consultant in New information technologies –  Santiago

Electrical Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with solid experience in renewable energy, electric markets, hydrogen systems, and programming. Before joining Hinicio, he worked at Engie Impact, Systep, and Banco de Chile as a project engineer, and also as a data analysis developer in Python, designing and implementing mathematical eligibility models, in addition to participating in several studies related to the green hydrogen value chain and the simulation of mobility models for the operation of zero-emission vehicles. Paolo speaks Spanish, English, and Italian.

Jorge Hinojosa
Consultant in Business development – Mexico City

Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and Masters in Renewable Energies from l’École Polytechnique de Paris. He has experience as a consultant in innovation, international cooperation, project financing, and stakeholder management in energy transition projects for institutions such as USAID, Stanford University, the Secretariat of Energy of Mexico, companies such as ENGIE Hydrogen (Paris), and as an entrepreneur with Rennueva with which he was part of the innovation agenda of Mexico City. Jorge is fluent in Spanish and English, with a basic knowledge of French.

Juan Duque
Consultant in Project development – Bogota

Chemical Engineer and Masters with honors in Energy Systems from the National University of Colombia. He has more than 8 years of experience in the direction and execution of sustainable development, energy efficiency, and clean energy projects for the mining and manufacturing sector. Prior to joining Hinicio, he worked as director of operations and project engineer with entities such as Sandia National Laboratories (USA), Clean Combustion Research Center (Saudi Arabia), and was a researcher for TU Darmstadt (Germany). Juan is also an advisor to Colombia Productiva of the Ministry of Commerce, and a techno-economic peer evaluator for the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Colombia. He is fluent in Spanish and English with basic knowledge of German.

 

Andres Manriquez
Energy systems Analyst  – Santiago

Industrial Engineer and specialist in Transportation Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is an expert in data visualization, processing, and analysis for sustainable transportation projects and financial modeling. Before working at Hinicio, he worked as a consultant in BI & Analytics in the modeling of solutions to support financial decision-making processes and he was a research assistant at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in the Laboratory of Innovation and Public Policy, several of them related to sustainable urban mobility. Andrés is fluent in Spanish and English.

Rocio Marin
Energy systems Analyst  – Santiago

Electrical Engineer specialized in Power Electrical Systems from the University of Chile. She has experience in the technical and economic analysis of energy storage systems, optimization models, planning of electrical systems, and modeling of energy systems, areas in which she has worked with organizations such as SPEC Energy Consulting, Solidarités Internacional, and the National Energy Commission of Chile. She speaks Spanish, English, and French.

Juan Sebastian Marquez
Junior Consultant – Bogota

Environmental Engineer graduated with honors from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). He has experience in sustainable mobility projects and the development of studies about climate change risks, as well as access to green financing funds, thanks to his previous experience in CAF – the Development Bank of Latin America. Juan Sebastián is fluent in Spanish and English and has a basic knowledge of German.
