Patrick Maio is the founder and managing partner of Hinicio.
He holds a engineering degree in mechatronics from ECE in Paris and a MBA from Solvay Business School, in Brussels, with a concentration on international strategy and finance. Before creating Hinicio, Patrick worked for 6 years in the management consulting practice of Ernst & Young in Brussels. He successfully developed and implemented a wide variety of strategic advice, interim management and outsourcing assignments. During this time he successfully initiated the hydrogen and fuel cells industry practice. Patrick brings analytical and systems engineering skills, a strong experience in multi-stakeholder innovative project management (especially European projects), an excellent business acumen and understanding of innovation management challenges, combined with a good understanding of EU decision making.
Anthony is the partner in charge of leading the organization in Europe since 2007, he is of Dutch nationality and lives in Belgium since many years. Anthony has a double (UK- German) degree in European Business Administration and holds an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Anthony is an investor in sustainable energy and has leading consulting skills and substantial experience at serving large and small organizations, managing complex processes in decision making and in particular in the innovation chain. In the last 20 years Anthony has besides business and finance focused his career on process and organisational optimisation. He has built his experience by working in different private a public fields, for large private corporations, in small start-ups and as a consultant with PwC. Anthony speaks Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish fluently. He has a true motivation to help elaborating solutions, think in new ways, use lessons learned and build cooperations. He is since years, now putting his skills to work in the fuel cells and hydrogen sector.
